2.2. Personal data

“Personal data” in accordance with Art. 4 EU GDPR is all the information, which refers to an identified or identifiable individual.
It is possible to use our website, in addition to the data transmitted automatically by the browser, without providing any additional personal data.
When contacting us, e.g. by email, the information you provide is processed for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event that subsequent questions arise, by complying with the relevant data protection provisions and by applying protective measures corresponding to the latest technology in terms of organisational, contractual and technical aspects. There will be no transmission to a third party. The personal data you provide in this case is on a voluntary basis. 2.3. Personal data in connection with applications

You also have the opportunity to make a job application online via the website of PCK Raffinerie GmbH. We use the application management system of Concludis GmbH ( for this. During the application process you will therefore be requested to accept a separate data protection declaration. Your data will be used exclusively to process the application.
Measures have been taken in the applicant portal of Concludis GmbH to protect your data and to prevent any external misuse. In doing so measures such as encryption (SSL encryption), Firewalls, hacker defence programs and manual security measures are applied.
Please note that applications, which you send to PCK outside the applicant portal by electronic means, will be transmitted unencrypted. To this extent there is the risk that unauthorised persons might capture and use this data.

2.4. Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files, which are saved by the server locally in the message buffer of the Internet browser of the site visitor. They contain for example information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. This data will not be passed on by us to a third party or linked with personal data without your consent.
Cookies help to facilitate navigation on the website and make it possible for the website to be displayed correctly.

2.5. Web analysis and website optimisation

We would like to present a convenient Internet image of PCK with lots of functions, continually optimise our web presence and adjust it to your requirements as a user.

Data, which may permit reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, registration or device identification, will be anonymised or pseudonymised as early as possible. Any other use, merger with other data from PCK or transmission to a third party will not take place.
Personal data will be saved and processed exclusively on servers in the Federal Republic of Germany.

If you have granted us consent, all data processing, which was carried out until your withdrawal of consent, will remain lawful.
The data saved by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its specific purpose or processing (access rights) will be limited, insofar as there are statutory retention obligations.

5. Comments, newsletters and social media plug-ins

You do not have a comments function on this website and no opportunity to subscribe either to the entire website as well as subsequent comments on your contribution.
This website does not use any social media plug-ins, such as those offered by Facebook, Google Plus or Twitter.
A newsletter, in which you are informed about current events and offers, is not offered.
